DESCRIPTION
Little Orchard is an attractive and well proportioned family residence
with equestrian use, built in the 1970’s of brick render with
part hung tiles under a pitched, tiled roof. Approximately 15 years
ago it was extended to provide the dining room, study, cloakroom
and two further bedrooms and now boasts substantial family accommodation.
The large sitting room has an attractive fireplace and mantel with
a gas fire which could be converted to an open log fire. The dining
room is a very good size with double doors leading out to the patio
terrace ideal for outside dining. The kitchen/breakfast room offers
a comprehensive range of ‘Magnet’ base and wall units
with a 1½ bowl sink and drainer unit, a ‘Belling’
double oven and hob with extractor above and space and plumbing
for a dishwasher and fridge. A door leads to the playroom which
also has a back door to the patio terrace. The utility is a good
size with plenty of space for a large chest freezer and separate
fridge. There is a single sink and drainer unit with cupboards below
and an additional fitted storage cupboard.
The master bedroom has fully fitted units and an en-suite shower
room with a low level W.C. and inset sink with vanity units above
and below. There are 4 further double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom/nursery.
The family bathroom has a corner bath with shower overhead, low
level W.C., and inset sink with vanity units below. Little Orchard
is approached via a block paved drive with parking for approximately
5/6 cars. There is a double garage with up and over doors, power
and light and a boarded loft. A side access gate leads to a large
rear patio with steps up to the garden which is predominantly laid
to lawn. The garden features a summerhouse, a garden shed, an aviary
and chicken coop. At the rear there is a gate leading to the paddocks
with two stables and a small barn.
